💳 How to Create a Card
SiFi makes it simple to issue and manage virtual cards for your team. Virtual cards are ideal for secure online payments, subscriptions, and controlled spending.
📝 Steps to Create a Virtual Card

Log in to SiFi (Web or Mobile).

Go to the Cards section and click Create Card.

Select Virtual Card (or Physical Card, if needed).
Choose the card network:

Mastercard (available now).

Mada (coming soon).
-

Pick a card color from the right panel.

Enter a card label (e.g., Marketing SaaS, Team Travel, Employee Name).
Choose the card type:

Standard Card (default).
-
Sub-Account Card (only available if your company has this feature enabled).

Assign the Cardholder:

Select an individual user, or
-
Create cards in bulk for up to 1,000+ people at once.

Link the card to a Team Budget (if applicable).

Set the Spending Limit and Validity Period.

Apply any restrictions if required (e.g., merchant categories, country, POS/e-commerce limits).

Click Create Card.
✅ What Happens Next
If the card creation has policy the creation goes through an approval process, else
The card is created instantly and appears in the Cards section.

The assigned cardholder will be notified.
-
The card can be used immediately for online transactions once activated.
🔐 Security Notes

Virtual cards are safer than physical cards for online spending they can be locked, cancelled, or replaced instantly.

Use labels to clearly track the purpose of each card (e.g., AWS Subscription, Employee Meals).

Always set limits and restrictions to control spending and reduce risk.
